You did a great job getting the silhouette to such a deep black. It makes the border blend seamlessly, which looks great. The picture also has a really good balance to it, although it's slightly in favor of the water instead of the sky. The main thing working against you is the overused subject matter. Regardless, great picture.

Sunsets, I meant. There are more sunset pictures out there then you could look at in a lifetime. One of the cliches of photography it seems. Not that you didn't do a great job with it though. I'd say, even with all the sunset pictures I've seen, this one is really nice.

Ahh.. like that. I don't consider it a overused subject, because no sunset is the same :) But I get what you are saying, and it's true. It's an easy subject to photograph because everyone can see it :)
